| Description |
中文（臺灣）：宜蘭水利之發展，溯自清代漢人吳沙入墾，況宜蘭自然地理有水源穩定條件，在有清一代便躋身為全台水利事業最發達地區（王世慶，〈談清代台灣蘭陽地區之農田水利開發史料〉，《台灣文獻》39〔4〕：193，1988）。在設廳之前即有7條埤圳開設，設廳之後，楊廷理奉命籌辦開蘭事宜，即力裁業戶，富戶力爭業戶不成，轉而投資水利事業，造成噶瑪蘭水利事業興盛之因。在1811年～1830年（嘉慶16年～25年）共開設水圳14條，為清代時期水利開發量最豐富的年代。林和源圳即五十二甲圳，位在利澤簡堡五十二甲庄（今五結鄉利澤村）。根據《宜蘭廳管內埤圳調查書》記載，此圳相關契書，於1896年（明治29年）匪亂之際盡失，僅知圳主為林開榮，因家住宜蘭南門街，管理不便，乃典讓於奇武荖庄魏益水，圳務由魏益水承擔，灌溉五十二甲庄，41佃戶，80甲地。
今林和源圳兩岸設有自行車道，並在冬山河飛虹橋前設有抽水站，沿途農田景觀甚佳。 |
