Description
中文：駐緬甸代表處李朝成大使偕僑務組林冠宏組長於12月7日上午拜訪緬甸福建同鄉總會，該總會呂振臏會長、曾榮庭總幹事親自接待。

呂會長向李大使介紹緬甸福建同鄉總會創建歷程，最早會址於1861設立於慶福宮內，160餘年來持續團結鄉親在緬甸這塊土地生根打拼，目前總會轄下約有50多個宗親、地方社團，2000年由呂會長匯聚群力購買Sinn O Dan St.會館現址。2001年於會館內成立福星學校，由於仰光學習華文的人數越來越多，華文學習有其重要性，現已在仰光Ahlone區開始新建校舍。
李大使表示，非常佩服呂會長這麼多年帶領福建同鄉總會，凝聚鄉親情誼，重視華文教育之傳承，出錢出力，福建同鄉大小事為呂會長心中第一要務，自己事業反而其次。隨而李大使與呂會長、曾總幹事就緬甸經濟等議題交換意見及參訪會館。
