中文：本處曾厚仁大使12月12日中午在渥太華主持感謝智庫學者及留台校友會成員年終餐會，與智庫負責人、學者專家及曾領取我政府獎學金赴台進修之加國青年菁英等約30人互動交流，並發表專題演講，在場嘉賓應邀踴躍發言或提問，表達對台灣的關心與支持，場面熱烈溫馨。

曾大使專題演說聚焦台灣地方選舉結果及其意涵、中國境內「白紙運動」的展望及加國政府公布印太戰略後的台加關係前景等。曾大使表示，無論選舉結果如何，台灣在中國文攻武嚇威脅下順利舉辦和平公正選舉，充分展現民主成熟韌性，殊值國際社會肯定；中國疫情雖逐步解封，經濟前景在各種因素挑戰下仍不樂觀；台加關係持續增長，我政府第一時間對加國印太戰略表達支持與歡迎，願與加拿大基於共享價值觀及國家利益，共同捍衛印太地區和平、繁榮與秩序，盼加國政府可具體落實其印太戰略目標，並及早日啟動台加FIPA正式談判及公開支持我申請加入CPTPP案。

多位智庫人士回應曾大使專題演講表示，相當肯定加國印太戰略對中國採取更堅定立場、反對台海改變現狀並擬與台灣加強發展經貿合作，認為台加係共享價值的理念相近國家，盼雙邊持續深化合作，持續發展友好關係。
