日本語: この写生は、昭和23年頃、住友金属鉱山下部鉄道の昭和橋駅を、写生した古い画ですが、当時を表す写真などは現在何も残されていません。従って、当時中学２年生の私が、現在の別子銅山記念図書館の辺りから、北北西の方角を見て書いた、昭和橋駅のプラットホームと駅舎です。当時この駅から、星越駅経由で、国鉄新居浜駅まで接続され、全国へ繋がっていました。当時、星越駅で、東京まで通しの切符画を買うことができ、学生割引で950円位で行くことができました。現在のこの付近は当時の鉄道線路は無く、昔駅舎があった付近は全く別世界のように建物が色々建っていて何の面影も残されていません。それでも昭和橋駅があったという記録がある以上、どんな駅舎があったかは、貴重な写生画だと思いますので、報告しました。 |
