中文（臺灣）：砲臺建築是清末台灣海防的一大特色，旗後砲臺在台灣近代史上可能是第一座融合西洋與中國形式，全面吸收西洋技術之始的中西合壁式砲臺。
門口有向外張開的八字牆，用紅磚斗砌而成。兩側門柱上砌「囍」字圖案，地面踏階亦用花式圖案鋪砌，形式精美。 |
