| Description |
中文（臺灣）：新坡工作站，因桃園大圳灌溉系統建設為便利桃園大圳第九支線所屬灌溉設施的管理及用水調配而設立。地址在桃園市觀音區中山路2段676號。 工作站於大正13年(1924)創立，原名下大堀監視所。民國37年(1948)改稱下大堀管理站。民國45年(1956)改稱新坡工作站迄今。原設置地點在今觀音區大堀里，後因分治改設在今觀音區大同里4鄰中山路2段676號。 新坡工作站的建築，自日治時期即有自有土地（觀音區下大堀段38-6、39-1、39-2號占地面積987平方公尺）自建日式木造平房165平方公尺。民國52年(1963)間擴建混凝土磚造一層辦公廳（建坪93平方公尺），民國65年(1976)重新改建成混凝土磚造二層辦公廳（建坪257.28平方公尺）。 工作站灌溉轄區，在初設時管理桃園大圳第九支線17口貯水池、河水堰10座，灌溉面積1,730公頃。民國50年(1961)為配合安置石門水庫淹沒區居民，將樹林村海埔新生地進行開發，因而增加面積50公頃。民國71年(1982)觀音工業區設立，民國72年(1983)坡寮新坡農地重劃整編及小型工廠、住宅社區逐年擴展興建，導致原有耕地逐年減少，以及迴歸水利用等因素，轄區水利構造物數量和灌溉面積均產生變動，現在擁有貯水池17口、河水堰16座，灌溉面積達1,737公頃。 |
