中文（臺灣）：捷發乾記茶莊創始人許金生於清同治13年，其於青壯年時自中國福建省泉州渡海來台，在台南州虎尾郡西螺街落腳，開始取號為捷發乾記茶莊，早期主要做茶葉買賣，茶葉來源為和台灣南投、台北地區和中國武夷山，同時也兼賣文房四書，和洋紙、四書五經等漢冊，直到日治時期因皇民化政策所限，只賣茶葉和蔬菜種籽。
建築物分為前、中、後棟三座。前棟起建於西元1935年，為磚造木構，外貌二樓，實為三層樓之歷史建築。建築體的立面造型精緻典雅，細部結構變化豐富，正面女兒牆、雨庇、陽台，裝飾混合洋和風格，設計新穎氣派，更富藝術氣息。 |
