Description
中文（中国大陆）：开元寺仁寿塔于五代梁贞明三年（917 年）建成，原为木塔。宋政和四年（1114 年）奏请赐名“仁寿塔”。在宋绍兴乙亥（1155年）和淳熙年间（1174～1189 年），两次失火被毁。于是改换材料，起初用砖，不久又改用石头修建。它的建筑形制与镇国塔基本相同，只是在高度上只有45.06 米，较镇国塔低3.21 米。而仁寿塔建筑的时间则比镇国塔早了10 年。按一寺双塔的制两塔的规划与设计可能同时就决定了，只是施工有先后而已。 开元寺的紫云大殿前东西两侧，有一对石塔。东塔名镇国塔。西塔名仁寿塔，两塔相距约二百米，全部仿木结构建造，为我国现存最高大的一对石塔。 双塔是可以登临的同类型石塔中做工最精细的，其建筑细部较忠实地反映南宋时福建地区的木构建筑的风格
