中文（臺灣）：本文訪談左營第一家書店─高文堂書店的創始人柯金火之子柯輝照，來回顧左營地區60年來的發展史。
柯家開臺祖柯春行自泉州同安縣來臺，初定居臺南六甲，後再遷往左營蓮池潭。其後子孫均以務農為生。柯金火時考慮到本省人教育程度有限，興起開設書店的想法，遂於1941年以一百多園在左營市場旁開設高文堂書店，這是取希望客人都能成為高等文官之意，也有「高雅詩文集滿堂」之意。從日治昭和年間至戰後60年代，銷售商品為辦公用品、文具，因主要消費對象都是軍人階層，經營逐步穩定發展，更有餘裕拓展販賣書籍，儘管多有競爭，但屹立不搖。伴隨著人口增加發展、九年國民義務教育實施、經濟發展，不同類別的書籍都需求大增，書店生意更加繁盛。80年代開始，人口流失、經濟衰退，僅能轉換經營方法，維持生存。 從上述可從柯家開設書店看到臺灣從日治後期至戰後80年代的左營發展史，也同時是臺灣史的一部分。 |
