崇宁文庙简介
崇宁文庙是四川省重点文物保护单位。始建于宋元佑元年（1086年），迄今已有上千年历史。
元代毁于兵火。历经多次重建、修缮。明永乐年间（1404年）明太祖朱元璋之孙崇宁王朱悦燇在宗宁王宫银安殿旧址重建文庙，1644年张献忠入川毁弃，清雍正、光绪年间宗宁县令相继修缮。解放后，为宗宁高等学堂、唐昌二小、唐昌镇中学。1954年文庙宫墙被拆，仅存大成殿及东西庑。
2012年进行近百年来最大规模修缮，修复万仞宫墙、泮池、棂星门，重望大成殿孔子圣像、四配及十二哲像。规模居四川现存文庙前列。
