中文（臺灣）：1955年，大陳島居民在一江山戰役後撤退來台，國民政府決定將之分別安置在十二個縣市，建立三十五個大陳新村供其居住。岳明新村即為宜蘭縣內大陳島民所居住的四個眷村之一，現屬蘇澳鎮岳明里，當時移居至此村的大陳島民約有三百多戶，一千餘人，是規模頗大的大陳聚落示範社區，於1956年獨立為「里」。「岳明」二字即是取自沈之岳的「岳」字，及其化名王明的「明」字而來。沈之岳曾任「大陳行政督察專員」，民國1964在台灣組建調查局，擔任調查局首任局長，被稱為「調查局之父」。招寶宮為其村內信仰中心，主祀觀世音菩薩。目前中老一代的大陳人日漸凋零，年輕一代有的去跑船，有的到外縣市打拚，還有不少人到美國發展，人口已大量外流。 |
