中文（臺灣）: 「屏東書院」創建於清嘉慶２０年（１８１５年），距今已逾200年，於1985年被指定為三級古蹟。全台自清末至今僅餘12座保存較好的書院得以列入古蹟名單，「屏東書院」與高雄鳳山「鳳儀書院」名列南部地區唯二的其中之一，彌足珍貴。每年928教師節當天，由屏東縣長主持祭孔大典，擔任主祭官，主辦單位特地安排「拔智慧毛-（豬毛）」儀程，莘莘學子趨之若鶩。  |
