中文（臺灣）：大園向來為農業區域，以盛產稻米為主，農地遼闊，對農田灌溉排水亟為需要。桃園大圳開通後，為管理第3、4、5支線之便，於是設立大園工作站以服務農民。 工作站於昭和3年(1928)創立，原名埔心監視所。民國43年(1954)改稱埔心管理站。民國45年(1956)，原大園分站升格改稱大園工作站，位於大園鄉大園段79-3地號。民國59年(1970)埔心分站裁撤，另設五權分站。民國66年(1977)10月10日遷至大園鄉大園村民生南路2號。民國92年(2003)，五權分站裁撤。99年(2010)4月1日，大園工作站搬遷到現址，桃園市大園區中正東路3段39號（原五權分站地址上修建而成）迄今。 工作站位置，北起埔心溪為界，東臨桃園大圳幹線下，南至老街溪，西面延伸到台灣海峽。轄區有中壢區、蘆竹區及大園區等3個行政區。最初灌溉面積2,800公頃，由於國際機場及中壢、大園工業區設立以及住宅區公寓興建，灌溉面積縮減為2,217公頃。目前轄有29水利小組；貯水池33口，攔河堰47座。 |
