English: Hakka immigration to India can be traced back to late 18th century. After undergoing several severe conflicts, the Chinese community in India was collectively detained or oppressed by the government, leading some Hakka people to leave India in anxiety. The family communities and early school education of India Hakka mainly focused on the Hakka dialect from Meizhou, Guangdong, China, and were not influenced by other Indian languages, preserving the inheritance of the Hakka language.
