中文（臺灣）：此照片為昭和13年（1938）4月29日於花蓮港神社參拜的照片，出自《竹南驛長主催全島一週，火燒島遊覽紀念寫真帖》。其拍攝視角為從吊橋右側往神社遠望的樣貌。照片中可見吊橋上擠滿前來花蓮港神社參拜的人群。同時，可見參拜者多為三十歲以上的男性，並多數穿著西裝或制服。另外，對照大正年間花蓮港神社初期照片，本照片中的「吊橋」明顯堅固許多，足以見證其整修變遷。現今的花蓮港神社因為政權改變已經改為忠烈祠，祭拜的對象從天照大神與親王，改變成鄭成功、丘逢甲等，從敬拜日本民族的神明，改變成敬拜漢民族的民族英雄。 |
