Summary

Description嘉義公園射日塔.jpg	中文（臺灣）：嘉義公園創建於日治時期明治四十三年(1910)，是本市主要的休閒空間，園區內除了原有的史蹟紀念物(神社內之石燈及石獅)之外，二戰後陸續增設了相關設施，包括民國四十五（1956）年，設置一江山戰役紀念碑；民國五十三（1964）年，興建孔廟；民國六十四（1975）年，移置12門清領時代古砲。民國八十七（1998）年，棒球場大門左側設置「七虎耀諸羅」和「威震甲子園」的青銅雕塑，以及水泉等設計，象徵棒運傳承和飲水思源。民國九十（2001）年，陳澄波文化基金會提供九幅複製油畫，豎立在嘉義公園內。閩南建築如「牆之道」也在公園內呈現；在嘉義神社原址上興建的「射日塔」，具有教育、遊憩等多種功能。
