| Description |
中文（臺灣）：鸞堂起源於清末民初時期，其主要祭祀神明為「恩主」。喚醒堂是頭城第一座鑾堂，原為頭城當地宿儒吳祥煇書房。1895年，吳祥煇先生有感於時下各地兵火頻傳，百姓民不聊生，因此決心將自己的書房改為鸞堂，希望透過宗教來慰藉人民的徬徨無助。鑾堂除了建立信仰支柱外，同時也開辦私塾、詩社等，透過教育改善當地陋習，如吸食鴉片等。由於烏石港貿易往來頻繁，鸞堂文化得以散播至全台灣，可以說喚醒堂之於全台鸞堂文化，影響甚遠。 |
