中文（臺灣）：唐榮鐵工廠股份有限公司為1940年由唐榮設立，後於1960年（民國49年）爆發財務危機、週轉失靈，請求政府救濟，行政院為維持該公司持續營運，特別於同年11月24日頒布院令，委託中華開發信託股份有限公司清查其資產並維持鐵工廠生產，於1962年（民國51年）2月1日改組為省屬事業機構，也成為公營事業，後省府雖仍有一連串建設，如建立「中興鋼鐵廠」， 但已無法與當年相比。
在當時外銷市場並不景氣，只以廢鋼原料本省數量較少，必須由國外進口，為配合政府外銷政策，爭取原料外匯收支平衡，雖蒙受虧損，仍須適量外銷。唐榮公司進口廢鋼原料後，生產出鋼筋出口至各國。 KH2002.018.039-0004：圖為唐榮鐵工廠將製造的鋼筋用聯結車運至高雄港，聯結車的車身印有唐榮的英文縮寫（TE）。 KH2002.018.039-0008：圖為搬運船正將鋼筋吊起搬運至船上的情形。 KH2002.018.039-0023：圖為貨車車身印有唐榮的英文縮寫（TE），右方可見仍然有使用牛車搬運貨物的情形。 |
