Description
中文（臺灣）：十二生肖印，即鼠、牛、虎、兔、龍、蛇、馬、羊、猴、雞、狗、豬等肖形印，廣文堂藝師林桂所雕刻，底部長2.5公分，寬2公分，高2公分，1980年雕成，材質為木頭橡皮印，目前存放於宜蘭縣宜蘭市中山路三段58號廣文堂印舖。 廣文堂內，仍保存了歷代各式各樣的刻印設備，也留存早期存放至今的小印章，小巧可愛又有趣，十二生肖印即是其中一種。生肖印，又稱肖形印，是印章篆刻藝術形式的組成部分，起源於春秋戰國時代，初時主要為祥瑞、避邪、敬神之用，後來逐漸演變成為封蠟印、封泥印，現在則以觀賞、開運居多。肖形印有兩種形式，一種為純圖案，另一種為圖案加文字。古代肖形印大多為陰刻，現代篆刻家則以陽刻創作為主，其中蘊含著極高的藝術素養，具有相當高的觀賞價值。在小小的印面上，要描繪出集各個生肖之特點，而圖形線條勾勒之間，又均似乎隱藏著神秘的表情，其造型別緻，形態逗趣，應屬於匠師的心血凝結，值得典藏。
