Description
中文（臺灣）：北投溫泉的利用，大約始於日據初期，於一九一三年，由官方主導興建的這座規模完備的大浴場，號稱當時東亞最大的溫泉浴場，這座建築的出現，也象徵著北投溫泉鄉發展高峰的來臨，並見證了臺灣溫泉文化史的一頁。建築的構造以磚木及鋼筋混凝土完成，一樓用櫥窗，二樓使用雨淋板式的木結構，屋頂為了透氣設有通風窗，整座建築頗似英國的鄉間別墅，外觀典雅，與北投公園融為一體，成為重要一景。 北投溫泉浴場於一九九八年經地方人士的努力，成為國定三級古蹟，並進行修復再利用規劃，作為北投溫泉博物館使用，運用溫泉建築之特色，介紹臺灣特有的溫泉浴池，並以展示及解說提供溫泉相關知識。
