中文（臺灣）：劍潭座落於中港溪支流南港溪上游，由苗栗農田水利會自行設計、施工、興建的水庫，功能為提供農田灌溉用水。原為一深潭，民國45年（1956年），水利單位在此建了水庫，蓄水供應下游農田灌溉及公共用水，水庫集水區屬淺山型之集水區，源於神棹山。該壩為混凝土重力壩，長34.4公尺，頂寬2.5公尺，附設弧形閘門一座，蓄水量56萬立方公尺，補充灌溉面積300公頃。--內容取自 造橋，維基導遊 |
