Description
中文（臺灣）：　　冬山定安宮為冬山地區的信仰中心，位於冬山老街北端，自羅東進入冬山市街之入口處，主祀媽祖，副祀觀音佛祖與冬瓜山開墾先賢林國寶神位。

　　冬山定安宮之創建，與清嘉慶1811（嘉慶16）年，竹塹人士林國寶、林秀春、范阿兼與羅天祿等人，「奉憲墾闢甲子蘭東勢地方」有關。林國寶等人開圳墾荒使冬山地區漸成良田後，即返鄉恭迎媽祖神像至冬山太和庇護鄉民。1831（道光11）年，林國寶五子林秋華中武舉人，即興建草廟一座奉祀媽祖，稱「聖母祀」。1872（同治11）年，定安宮遷建現址。其後歷經多次修繕，在1959年重建為鋼筋混凝土廟殿，1969年又再修建而成現貌，1996年重修屋頂並增建拜亭。

　　冬山定安宮為單殿式三開間廟宇，屋頂為三川脊，建築主體為鋼筋混凝土造，廟宇建築運用戰後流行之水泥塑像（土尪仔）、磨石子、馬賽克等材料，具戰後廟宇建築之特色。
