Description	中文（臺灣）：八角樓是座建於1847年的木造大宅，當時鹽水月津港仍是商船來往頻繁、街上商客穿梭的繁榮景象。經營糖商致富的葉家特聘請唐山師傅來台建造，建材全都是由中國渡海而來的福州杉與磚石，堪稱當時的豪宅大院。
