中文（臺灣）：八德埤塘生態公園。桃園台地的埤塘源自先民因拓墾的水源需求，而開鑿出的灌溉水利設施。台地上星羅棋布，曾經達到8846口埤塘，形成最富盛名的地理景觀。八德埤塘生態公園是目前較具規模的埤塘觀光園區，位於八德區興豐路旁，鄰近榮民之家與國防大學。 公園佔地約5公頃，在施工前原為違章建築林立的國有地，因保有埤塘、老樹等景觀資源，因此縣政府在民國95年(2006)以「自然生態」為概念進行設計，97年(2008)完工啟用。公園完成啟用後已經成為為桃園埤塘保育進行代言的最佳場域，園區內設置的「森之散步道」串聯各種自然界繽紛的水岸場景。 水岸邊座落著形狀不同的「森之亭」，提供聆賞蟲鳴鳥啾與涓涓流水的舒適場景。園區在設計時注重原有樹種的保留，以及生物多樣性的考量、多孔性生物棲住空間的提供、「野鳥之島」之規劃、木構架自然通風採光的綠建築設計，各項設計皆呈現對自然生態、環境永續的關懷與重視。 |
