中文：位于莆田荔城区,是唐代贞观二年（628年）创建的道教庙观建筑群中遗存的主体建筑物之一，系全国重点文物保护单位。宋代名“天庆观”，元代更名“玄妙观”，清代因避康熙皇帝玄烨讳，改称“元妙观”。殿内竖有20根木石连接大柱，仍保存宋代建筑风格。与福州华林寺、宁波保国寺并称为江南古建之华。
