Description
English: A photograph of a rubbing of the Dilitu map ("Geographical Map", as opposed to Astronomical Charts) of China using a 100 li by 100 li grid, preserved on a stella at the Museum of Engraved Stone Tablets at the Confucian Temple at Suzhou. Originally drafted by Huang Shang c. 1190 and presented with other maps and astronomical charts to the Guangzong or Ningzong Emperor of the Song in 1194. Engraved on stone by Wang Zhiyuan in c. 1247, mistakenly using 墜 as a variant character for 墬. Roughly 3¾ × 3¼ feet.

日本語: 墜理圖 （蘇州） 蘇州城內孔子廟の儀門の正面に明倫堂があるそして、その明倫堂の戟門の下に、重建碑、天文圖、墜理圖と云ふものがあり、寫眞は墜理圖を出したものである。この古圖は唐の貞元の宰相賈耽が海內華夷の圖であつて、此の圖は斐秀の遺法を傳へたものであるが、この偽齊（劉豫　阜昌四年模刻が、今西安碑林禹跡に現存し、これと同じに刻せられた禹跡圖は百里方眼の格子形區劃が刻せられてゐると云ふ。兎に角、この地圖は支那最古のものではあるが、精密に調査し、調刻の手法もまた妙である。蘇州を訪ふ者は一度は孔子廟を訪れて見るもよからう｜（印畫の複製を禁ず）
