耶律楚材の像 （北平郊外）

像と墓は萬壽山正門の東側人家塀内に在り、乾隆帝の碑文は其の前に建つてゐる。幼少の時より好學の人で博く郡籍に精通じてゐつた。字晋卿といふ。元の太祖成吉思汗が金の燕京政めた時耶律楚材を見つて大に寵遇して帷幄に參せしめ、大宗か即位すると楚材を擧げて中書令とした、元朝の蒙古の風を變じ漢土の文物制度を折裏し立國の規模を建つたのは楚材の力でゐる元の太宗十五年（宋の淳和三年）紀元千九百三年（寬正元年）に卒し北京郊外西山に葬つたと。｜（印畫の複製を禁ず）
