道佛の混淆

道教は老子を祖となし福、禄、寿を基本とした教であつたが、後年に至り偶像を設けて冠婚葬祭をも行ひ、その寺院を観、宮、廟と称ひ廟宇の有名なものは何といつても千山のそれであつた。玆にも弥陀や五百羅漢を祀るかと思へば玉皇や天后を併祀し、仏教と道教とは全く混淆されてゐる。図は岩窟を利用して祀られた等身大の五百羅漢。（印画の複製を禁ず）
