明孝陵 （その二）

太祖は海內一統の後、租税を輕くし刑罰を嚴にし敎化を尚び科舉を明かにし吏治を重んじ宦官を抑へ主として元末の諸弊を改むると共に、封建を創め功臣を除いて長久の計を定めた。孝陵の土未だ乾かざるに先つて燕王容易に簒奪を逞しくしやうなどとは如何にして彼が想つたらう。｜近世長髮賊の亂は殿樓を焚き盡した。基址斷續、墜瓦狼藉、たゞ石人と石獸とのみ半里の間に並列して空しく陵墓を守つてゐる。
