●風箱峽(二)

仰き見る懸崖の上方、巖盤の裂れ目に不思議にも數個の木箱が置かれて居る。昔此峡を通ふ船子らは風を唯一の手賴りに上航したものであるが、風を起す鞴(右側が備)を風神に献けて便風を祈願したのだと傳へられる。木箱は即ち風箱で峡名の據つて起つた由來だとされる。(印畫の複製を嚴禁す)
