Description
中文（臺灣）：大豹社故地所在的三峽區位於新北市西南側，傳統社域以大豹溪流域為主，為清末至日治初期，三峽地區重要的原住民部落，對於三峽地區類似紀念碑，現可查到的紀錄多係為昭和九年(1934)以前，然依此判斷大豹忠魂碑建造時間，應不早於昭和9年(1934)。 大豹忠魂碑為日人取得大豹社域後樹立，依據昭和12年(1937)1月7日的台灣日日新報報導，內容是為了紀念在明治39年(1907)9月7日清晨，戰死於討伐大豹社戰役外插角現場，桃園廳警部中內武之助等12人的紀念碑，在8日早上11點由遺族等關係人共同樹立，旨在紀念與大豹社對抗過程中陣亡的軍警。
