中文(繁體):三塊厝火車站是高雄城市發展與鐵道歷史空間的重要據點與象徵,係早期台灣鐵路車站設施的具體見證資產,是高雄市現存日治時期木構造火車站之ㄧ,建物本身的形式與構法深具歷史價值。
English: Sankuaicuo Train Station is an important building and is symbolic of Kaohsiung’s urban development and railway history. It is an asset that has witnessed the early development of railway station facilities in Taiwan and is the only wooden train station in Kaohsiung built during the Japanese Occupation that still remains today. The style and the structure of the building have historic value.
