Description

Es de estilo ojival, S. XVIII, un estilo que dominó Europa durante los últimos tres siglos de la Edad Media, y cuyo empleo consistía en el empleo de la ojiva para toda clase de arcos. Los únicos restos que se conserva de la antigua muralla medieval que rodeaba el pueblo, es la puerta principal al poblado o ” Puerta de la Villa” u otros restos del Arco de Entrada que se levantaba sobre el ábside de San Miguel, en el extremo sur de la villa.

Tan sólo ha llegado a nosotros de las siete puertas que tuvo Becerril y en perfecto estado de conservación la mencionada, “Puerta de la Villa” .
