ไทย: 15 กันยายน 2500 ผู้คนนับแสนพากันลุกฮือเดินขบวนบุกเข้าไปในทำเนียบรัฐบาล เมื่อไม่พบจอมพล ป. จึงพากันไปบ้านจอมพลสฤษดิ์ ขณะที่จอมพล ป. ก็กำลังจะเตรียมจับกุมจอมพลสฤษดิ์ข้อหากบฏสนับสนุนให้ผู้ชุมนุมประท้วงรัฐบาล แต่ไม่ทันดำเนินการใดๆ ในคืนวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2500 จอมพลสฤษดิ์ ก็นำกำลังทหารเข้ายึดอำนาจโค่นล้มจอมพล ป.ในคืนนั้น จอมพล ป. และพลตำรวจเอกเผ่า ลี้ภัยไปต่างประเทศ ท่ามกลางความยินดีของประชาชนชาวไทย
