اردو: قس بن ساعدہ ایادی کی عکاظ می
كما قال في خطبته في سوق عكاظ: «أيها الناس، اسمعوا وعوا، وإذا سمعتم شيئا فانتفعوا، إنه من عاش مات، ومن مات فات، وكل ما هو آت آت. إن في السماء لخبرا، وإن في الأرض لعبرا. ليل داج، ونهار ساج، وسماء ذات أبراج، وأرض ذات فجاج، وبحار ذات أمواج. ما لي أرى الناس يذهبون ولا يرجعون؟ أرضوا بالمقام فأقاموا أم تركوا هناك فناموا؟ تبا لأرباب الغافلة والأمم الخالية والقرون الماضية.»
