قره کلیسا در استان آذربایجان غربی۲۰ کیلومتری شمال شرقی چالدران و در کنارروستایی به همین نام واقع شده است. گفته میشوداحداث این کلیسابه اوایل دوران مسیحیت باز میگردد ولی در دوره صفویه مرمت و بازسازی شده است . این بنا طی سالیان دراز بر اثر تجاوز و غارت صاحبان قدرت ، جنگهای ادوار مختلف ، حمله مغول ها و حتی زلزله بارهاو بارها تخریب شده است ولی این بلایا بر ارزش این کلیسا تاثیری نگذاشته و همواره مرمت و بازسازی شده تا بار دیگر بتواند میزبان مسیحیان باشد . قره کلیسا در سال ۱۳۳۴ به عنوان آثار ملی ایران و در سال ۲۰۰۸ در فهرست جهانی یونسکو به ثبت رسیده است .
