Description
العربية: طريق الكباش هو الطريق الذي يربط معبد الأقصر بمعبد الكرنك، كان يبدأ من الشاطئ شارع فسيح، تحف به تماثيل لأبى الهول نجدها في معابد الكرنك مثلت على شكل أبى الهول برأس كبش، والكبش هنا يرمز للإله آمون، ربما لحماية المعبد وإبراز محوره. وقد أطلق المصري القديم على هذا الطريق اسم " وات نثر WAt-nTr ". بمعنى طريق الإله، أما طريق الكباش في معابد الكرنك فقد عرف باسم " تا ـ ميت ـ رهنت ". وترجمتها طريق الكباش أيضا. يوجد علي طول الطريق البالغ 2,700كم 1200 تمثال وعرض هذا الطريق 76م كانت هذه التماثيل تنحت من كتلة واحدة من الحجر الرملي ذات كورنيش نقش عليه اسم اللمك والقابه وثناء عليه مقامه على قاعدة من الحجر مكونة من 4 مداميك من الحجر المستخدم نظرا لوجود بعض النقوش وقد تقام علي هيئتين : الأولي: تتخذ شكل جسم أسد ورأس إنسان (أبو الهول) الثانية: تتخذ شكل جسم الكبش ورأس كبش كرمز من رموز الآلة أمون رع تاريخ أعمال الحفر عن طريق الكباش ويجدر بنا الإشارة إلي أعمال التنقيب السابقة طبقا للتسلسل الزمني
