فارسی: رسول جعفریان، روحانی و پژوهشگر تاریخ ایرانی‌است، وی اکنون استاد گروه تاریخ دانشگاه تهران و رئیس کتابخانه تخصصی تاریخ اسلام و ایران می‌باشد.
العربية: الکاتب والباحث فی التاریخ الإسلامی "الشیخ رسول جعفریان" من مورخی المعاصرین و المولفین المکثرین.
سيرته ولد رسول جعفريان في اليوم التاسع من شهر تير من السنة الشمسية لعام 1343ش في خوراسگان الأصفهانية، و في عام 1355 بدأ دراسته للمعارف الإسلامية، و بعد سنتين انتقل إلى قم لمواصلة دراسته للعلوم الدينية، و عام 1360 بدأ مطالعاته التاريخية، حيث طبع كتابه التاريخي الأول عام 1363ش. |
