Description
English: The Ruler of Ramhormoz an account by Gholam Hossein Afzal Malik Shirazi Zand (1862-1929 CE) in his book  "Afzal al-Tawareikh". The author was the official historian of the era of Muzaffaruddin Shah the King of Qajar dynasty and he is related to Karim Khan Zand the ruler of The Zand dynasty, his book "Afzal al-Tawareikh" tells the events of the years 1896 to1900, The pages 451-452 of manuscript describes the ruler of Ramhormoz and the Bakhtiari tribes raids on the city(Translation) :“At this time the ruler of Ramhormuz and Its Shaikh is “Emir Abdullah”, but most of the time the Bakhtiaris and by offering gifts and bribery to the government delegate in Arabistan take the rule of the city of Ramhormuz from the Arab sheikh, It's three years that grudge and wars countinues between the Ramhormuzi Arabs and the Bakhtiaris, the Arabs expelled the Bakhtiaris from the city and ran them outside of the city and they themselves own the city, in this city Ramhormuz, nine out of ten areas of the city have been demolished in the past three years and one sees the houses and streets destroyed, I asked one of the city's residents (Arabs) "How many people were you residents of this city before Your war with the Bakhtiaris?" He answerd in Persian: "A lot! A lot!"
