Description
العربية: هو حيوان راعي يتغذى على العديد من الأنواع النباتية ويفضل اللوبيا والتوت والتين ،وتشكل الحشائش 78% من نظامه الغذائي خلال موسم الأمطار ،اما أثناء الجفاف يأكل المواد الخشنة مثل اللحاء (غلاف الأشجار)

يصل النضج في سلالته عندما يكون عمره 16 شهراً ويبدأ التزاوج من شهر أغسطس وحتى نوفمبر وتتراوح فترة الحمل بعد التزاوج من 6 إلى 8 اشهر ،وتلد من 1 إلى 4 ،ويبدأون في تناول الطعام بعد 4 أيام فقط من الولادة يعيش في موائل الأراضي القاحلة بما في ذلك الصحارى والسافنا والغابات والشقوق الصخرية والتجاويف ينتشر في انحاء أفريقيا وشبه الجزيرة العربية فيما عدا حوض الكنغو ومدغشقر واسع الإنتشار في السودان يوجد في معظم المحميات الطبيعية والمناطق الصخرية واجزاء من الصحراء والمدن الريفية تم تقييمه بأنه أقل قلق
