العربية: حارات باب توما هي حارات دمشقية عتيقة حيث يعود اصل هذة المنطقة الى العهد الروماني فالباب المتواجد في المنطقة هو الاثر الدال عليها واما هذه الحارات واثارها المتبقية تعود للعمارة الدمشقية وقد استخدمت الحجارة والطين بشكل واضح في البناء والخشب للبلاطات والتسقيف
