العربية: عقاب حكيم أو العقاب المصفق أو عقاب زيمبابوي أو حَنْكُرَان[4] (الاسم العلمي: Terathopius ecaudatus) (بالإنجليزية: Bateleur)‏، هو عقاب متوسط الحجم ينتمي إلى البازية. يتميز باستطالة سفطية وقصر عنقه وذنبه. ثوبه متراكب الألوان. رأسه وعنقه وصدره وبطنه إلى السواد. ظهره إلى الصهبة الحنطية العابقة، ظاهر سقطه ينحرف من الصهبة الشقراء إلى الرصاصية، باطنه إلى الأبيض الفضي. منسره أصفر اللون أحمر الانتشاب أزرق البهرة. موطنه البلاد الإفريقية، يعيش أزواجًا ذكرًا وأنثى. يألف الجبال والفيافي. قوته الأفاعي على اختلاف أحجامها وأجناسها. يقتنص الظباء الصغيرة والرئال والحملان. يُدثّن عشه في الأشجار. أنثاه تبيض من 2 إلى 4 رفنات تحضنها وحدها نحو أربعة أسابيع.[4]
