A sign at the entrance to HaMahtarot (Hebrew: The Undergrounds; המחתרות) Park, Rova He (Quarter 5) of Ashdod. The sign is commemorating the sinking of the "Egoz" immigration ship on its way from Morocco and the Jewish underground in Morocco.

עברית: שלט בכניסה לפארק המחתרות ברובע ה' באשדוד, המנציח את טביעת ספינת ההעפלה "אגוז" בדרכה ממרוקו ואת המחתרת היהודית במרוקו ("ארגון פעילי המחתרת, ההעפלה ואסירי ציון בצפון אפריקה"). שלט ההנצחה מציין 40 שנים לטביעת הספינה, והוא נושא כיתוב גם בצרפתית ("Clandestinité et immigration illégale en Afrique du Nord"). השלט ממוקם, לצד שלט מידע נוסף, בכניסה לפארק מצומת שדרות הרצל–שדרות ירושלים.
English: A sign at the entrance to HaMahtarot (Hebrew: The Undergrounds; המחתרות) Park, Rova He (Quarter 5) of Ashdod. The sign is commemorating the sinking of the "Egoz" immigration ship on its way from Morocco and the Jewish underground in Morocco ("Organization of Underground Fighters, Aliyah and Prisoners of Zion in North Africa"). The memorial sign marks 40 years since the sinking of the ship, and it bears an inscription in French as well ("Clandestinité et immigration illégale en Afrique du Nord"). The sign is located, next to another information sign, at the entrance to the park from the intersection of Herzl Boulevard and Jerusalem Boulevard.
