עברית: דף מתוך "ספר הברית", שנחתם על ידי מייסדי רחובות. "ספר הברית" היה המסמך החוקתי הראשון של רחובות שקבע בין השאר את העקרונות לפיהם יפעל ועד המושבה. מדובר למעשה בכתב התקשרות בין שתי קבוצות שהקימו ורכשו את הקרקע של המושבה רחובות: "היחידים" שגרו הלכה למעשה במושבה וחברי "מנוחה ונחלה". המסמך נכתב בורשה בשנת 1890.
ספר הברית עוסק בתקנות הנוגעות לניהול ולבניית המושבה, ביניהן: פירוט מספר הדונמים של כל בעל נחלה, סדרי הקמת הבתים הפרטיים, גודל הבית ומהיכן יילקחו האבנים לבנייתו, התכנון הפיזי של המושבה, הבארות ורכוש המושבה הציבורי וחובות התושבים. כמו כן, נקבע שבעלי הנחלות יישאו בהוצאות הכלליות ולא ניתנה רשות למכור נחלה או להשכירה בלי הסכמת רוב החברים. באסיפה הכללית השנייה, שהתקיימה בסוף שנת 1890, חתמו על "ספר הברית" שמונה עשרה מבעלי הקרקעות היחידים ושני נציגים מ"מנוחה ונחלה". מסמך זה שיקף את האינטרסים של אגודת "מנוחה ונחלה", שחבריה לא התגוררו ברחובות והבטיח שיהיה להם ייצוג נאות בוועד בהתאם להיקף היחסי של נחלותיהם. באדיבות ארכיון רחובות. |
