Description
English: Jerusalem, street art by "My Dog Sighs" & Nitzan Mintz in the tunnel of the central bus station of Jerusalem (which connects the central bus station to the International Convention Center) - Artwork by Artist: "My Dog Sighs" & Nitzan Mintz
English: Water as Symbol for... Emotion. Water symbolizes emotion. For thousands of years most people lived from agriculture, and were at the mercy of Heaven (and many died of hunger in drought), or when sailing on ships many died from drowning when ships ran aground; and you don't have stronger feelings provoker than the minister of death. In Hebrew Pride (Gaavah) and Tide (Geut) are from the same root. The same goes for low (Shefel) and humiliation (hashpala). In Astrology water symbolizes emotions: native water signs (Scorpio, Pisces, Crab - are considered as sensitive people with strong intuition). Aquarius belongs to the constellations of Air despite paintings showing a man pouring forth water. In Greek it is named Aquarius, and our era is called the Age of Aquarius. Aqua = Water in Latin, from which come the words aquarium and aquifer. Photo: Tears, which are water flowing from the eyes, are attached to the feeling of sorrow.
