עברית: בסיס דלק נשר נסגר בשנת 2019. במקום מתוכננת בנייה.
היסטוריה של הבסיס: באוגוסט 1992 הושג סיכום בין ראש המועצה דוד עמר למשרד הביטחון על פינוי בסיס הדלק הצבאי 5810 שהיה ממוקם בפינת הרחובות הפלדה ודרך בר יהודה וממערב לו מחצבת 4.5 ק"מ. הבסיס שימש את הצבא הבריטי משנות השלושים של המאה הקודמת ואחר כך שימש את צה"ל. בדצמבר נמסר שהחלו העבודות לבניית בסיס חלופי, וכך יהיה ניתן לפנות בסיס זה, להפשיר חמישים דונם לבנייה ולהקים את שכונת מורדות תל חנן ובה 120 יחידות דיור ועוד 44 בתי מגורים במסגרת "בנה ביתך". השכונה תשתלב עם מרכז אשכול, בריכת השחייה ומתקני הספורט. מגרש הכדורגל ההיסטורי, משנות החמישים, יהפוך לחלק מהשטח הבנוי בשכונה החדשה, ובמקומו יוקם אצטדיון כדורגל וספורט ליד בית החרושת למלט נשר. בדצמבר 1994 הושלם פינוי בסיס 198 הדלק." |
