במלאת 90 שנה לבית העם נחנכה הרחבה המחודשת הכוללת שני מבוכים- לבירינתים. הריצוף נעשה ביוזמתה ותכנונה של האומנית וחוקרת רחובות רחלי רוגל, בעקבות תיאור מספרו של נחום גוטמן "החופש הגדול או תעלומת הארגזים" : "הלכנו לבית העם, שם לנו כל האורחים שבאו לבציר. האולם היה גדול מפה לפה, הנכנס בו בלילה הייתה לו צפויה סכנה שלא ימצא דרכו חזרה אל הפתח. כי היה הכרח לעשות כמה סיבובים וקפנדריות בין המשכבים. השבילים היו מעוקלים ולא תמיד הובילו אל המוצא הראשי. ממש חידת מבוך". ]].עברית: The first public brick labyrinths in Israel, located in the city of Rehovot, in which Roggel lives. Roggel designed the labyrinths to occupy the front grounds of the 90-year-old building dedicated to the performing arts. Each labyrinth is 10 yards in diameter, and is made of 2.5" x 2.5" violet and white bricks. The work was concluded on May 6th, 2003 for Israel's 55th Independence Day.
