עברית: בשנת 1943 ערך הפלמ"ח 2 קורסים למפקדי סירות, בקיבוץ שדות ים, מתוך שאיפה להקמת יחידה ימית, שתעסוק בהעפלה לכשתסתיים מלה"ע ה-2. בתום הקורסים הוחזרו הבוגרים לפלוגות החי"ר שלהן מפאת חוסר תקציב, אך בלחצם הוקמה עוד באותה שנה המחלקה הימית שבסיסה בשדות ים. הקורס הימי הראשון נפתח בינואר 1943 וחניכיו היוו את גרעין המחלקה הימית בפלמ"ח (מתוך הספר של יענקלה סלומון "זיכרון קרוב רחוק"). תוכנית קורס מפקדי סירות ארך כשלושה חודשים בהשתתפות 30 חניכים מתנועת הנוער העובד ת"א, בתגבורם של בוגרי הימייה של הפועל ת"א ותנועת הנוער משכונת בורוכוב (גבעתיים היום). תכנית הקורס כללה חתירה, מפרשנות ונביגציה ימית ונועדה להכשיר את החניכים לקבלת מעפילים בחופי הארץ. (מתוך אתר הפלי"ם ההעפלה והרכש) תמונה זו צולמה בשנת 1943 והיא מתעדת את ראשוני משתתפי או מדריכי קורס מפקדי סירות שהתקיימו בשנה זו.

  • If the copyrights are owned by the State, not acquired from a private person, and there is no special agreement between the State and the author — on 1 January of the 51st year after the creation of the work (paragraphs 36 and 42 in the 2007 statute).
