Հայերեն: Վանքային համալիրը կառուցվել է 10-13-րդ դարերի ընթացքում։ Վանքի մասին տեղեկություններ է տալիս Կիրակոս Գանձակեցին։ Ծաղկում է ապրել XII դարի վերջին - XIII դարի սկզբին՝ Խաչատուր Տարոնացու առաջնորդության ժամանակ։ Որպես ուսումնագիտական կենտրոն հիշատակվում է (Կոստանդին Դ, Ստեփանոս Օրբելյան) XIII դարի առաջատար մշակութային կենտրոնների շարքում։
