Description
Українська: код 71-101-5002.Парк був закладений у 1967 році на честь 50-річчя Жовтневої революції. Розташований у північно-західній частині м.Черкаси.П-сх. частина парку виходить на набережну р. Дніпро. Був створений на базі існуючого сосново-дубового лісу та штучних насаджень сосни звичайної. Територія має розгалуджену систему доріжково-стежкової мережі, поділена на зону активного і тихого відпочинку, дитячу, прогулянкову зону, пляжі.У складі дендрофлори налічується 115 видів, гібридів і культиварів дерев, кущів, ліан. Парк виконує роль резервату дендрогенофонду видів, які у природних системах підлягають різним ступеням ризику і потребують охорони.У складі його насаджень трапляються 10 видів, занесених до Червоних списків МСОП.
